Respecting Afro-Idigenous Art with Lauren, Leah, and Callie Palmer of The Wild Mother

flowerstock 2021 Oct 26, 2021

At Flowerstock, we strongly believe in the power of floral design to make a difference in the world. That’s why our theme for 2021 is hope—hope that we can be a power for good!

Sisters Lauren, Leah, and Callie Palmer of The Wild Mother will bring their unique perspective to Flowerstock 2021 with their class: Respecting Afro-Idigenous Art with The Wild Mother. You will learn about the power that floral design holds as art and ways you can support creators of color.

"We can't wait to start on the discussion of understanding and supporting Afro-Indigenous Art."

Lauren, Leah, and Callie Palmer are the Afro-Indigenous sisters behind The Wild Mother Creative Studio in Oklahoma City. They believe that art is medicine, and they use their floral design to tell stories and honor their culture.

Flowerstock 2021 will take place virtually on November 9th. Join The Wild Mother and other top floral educators from around the world for our celebration of flowers!
